Just yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing Sarah and Alex Martins beautiful wedding day at Kennolyn Hilltop Hacienda in Soquel. Words cannot express how much I adored photographing this couple, their day was just perfect. Alex had his family from Brazil make the journey for this special day, it was filled with lots of love, amazing energy and good times. Their beautiful ceremony conducted by two close friends made it even more special as guests were invited to pour sand from two beaches, one of them being Ocean Beach where the couple first met and surf everyday. This symbolized the two becoming one, super cute huh!! :) I love the little details :) Sarah and Alex are well respected members of the surf community out at Ocean Beach and I have become a surfing groupie after watching Alex surf Mavericks earlier this year. Absolutely A-MAZING!! The party kicked off with Sarah and Alex having their first dance, then a super relaxed buffet style dinner which was delicious! followed by some toasts, cake cutting and lots of dancing. Of course, I sneaked them out for some fun portraits inbetween the festivities. It was really difficult to pick some sneak peeks, but I wanted to share some images before these guys headed off on their amazing honeymoon to New Zealand this week. I also need to blog their super cute engagement session too, watch this space!!!
